Andrea Stark, founder and sole member of MiraVista, LLC, is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. Andrea received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a specialization in Business Administration from Columbia College. Andrea gained two years of DMERC multi-functional team experience during which time she adjudicated review requests, answered telephone inquiries and processed claims. In this capacity, Andrea worked with both supplier and beneficiary populations. She received numerous recognitions for her technical and professional accomplishments.
From January 2000-March 2003, Andrea served as South Carolina ombudsman in the DMERC professional relations department. For a one year period, she simultaneously served as the interim ombudsman for suppliers in Puerto Rico and Virgin Island. During her years in professional relations, she worked very closely with the SC Medical Equipment Services Association and other trade groups. She created numerous presentations to ensure clear, concise delivery of Medicare information and traveled throughout the state visiting with suppliers and training their staff.
In April 2003, Andrea founded MiraVista to continue her work in provider education. Today, MiraVista provides group education through seminars and teleconferences, custom consulting services through personal on-site visits and telephone consultations, and written reference materials, primarily through the VistaNotes® brand. In 2004, the Company expanded its service line to include third party billing services through its sister company, ClaraVista, LLC.
Andrea is a regular speaker at state associations across the United States and Puerto Rico and national trade shows and events. Suppliers praise Andrea's work as "dedicated", "innovative", "very clear", "outstanding", "professional", "well prepared", "articulate", and "extremely helpful".
